"value": "\n <p>Yesterday, the 2nd of August 2024, Drupal 11 was released.<\/p>\n\n<p>The next major version of the Drupal content management system and the newest major version since Drupal 10 on the 15th of December 2022.<\/p>\n\n<p>There are some requirement changes, such as newer versions of PHP and MySQL, and updated PHP dependencies, such as a newer version of Symfony, PHPUnit and Twig.<\/p>\n\n<p>Several Drupal core modules have been moved to contrib modules, making Drupal core simpler and leaner.<\/p>\n\n<h2 id=\"here%27s-the-thing\">Here's the thing<\/h2>\n\n<p>The same as from 8 to 9 and 9 to 10, it's simple to upgrade to Drupal 11.<\/p>\n\n<p>I did it with my <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/opdavies\/docker-example-drupal\/commit\/f4aa3d8a68464327489c884358b2ba8f6212dad0\">Docker Drupal example<\/a> my changing a few files and running <code>composer update<\/code>.<\/p>\n\n<p>To read more about the Drupal 11 release, go to https:\/\/www.drupal.org\/project\/drupal\/releases\/11.0.0.<\/p>\n\n ",
