A few days ago, I said that I still like to use RSS<\/a> to consume a lot of online content.<\/p>\n\n

Unfortunately, a lot of websites either don't have RSS or Atom feeds, or they aren't easy to find without viewing the website's source code.<\/p>\n\n

The ability for people to publish and easily consume other people's content is a main principle of the open web, instead of relying on other websites and social media.<\/p>\n\n

Drupal is one of the projects that make an open web possible<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

It's easy to create an RSS feed of your articles, events or any other content on your Drupal website for others to consume.<\/p>\n\n

I also love that Drupal.org itself does this by publishing RSS feeds for project releases and various other content - not just news or blog posts.<\/p>\n\n

Because of this, I can subscribe to the feeds I want from any website that creates them and I can consume it how and when I want.<\/p>\n\n
