+      <p>A distributed platform for hosting and sharing videos - similar to Mastodon.</p>

+      <p>I've found Peertube instances created by other YouTubers like <a href="https://videos.lukesmith.xyz">lukesmithxyz</a> and <a href="https://tinkerbetter.tube">Veronica Explains</a>.</p>

+      <p>Now <a href="/homelab">my homelab is up and running</a> and I'm self-hosting production services like this website and my Forgejo instance, I wanted to host my own Peertube instance to back up my videos and provide an alternative place for people to watch them.</p>
+
+      <p>I'm using NixOS for my homelab, which has options for Peertube, so setting it up was easily.</p>
+
+      <p>My homelab configuration is public in my <a href="https://code.oliverdavies.uk/opdavies/nix-config">nix-config</a> directory, so you can see how I have configured it.</p>
